CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY

A fee of 100% of your booked service will be charged to your credit card if you are a no show to your appointment, or if you cancel less than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, you will be asked to reschedule and charged 50% of your total service fee.

Is being late to my appointment Fancy?

​No, it's not. If you are late we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment for a later date. Due to the nature of each service, we want to insure all clients are given the appropriate amount of time to complete their service.

What would prevent me from getting a wax?

At Skin So Fancy Wax Studio we care about your skin! We will not perform any services if you are using Retin-A, Differin, Accutane, AHA's or blood thinners. We will not be able to perform waxing services if you are sunburnt. You will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a later date. 

What should I do to prepare for my appointment?

The hair needs to be at least ¼ inch long for waxing (about the size of a grain of rice). This will ensure the integrity of your service. 

What kind of wax do you use?
We use a combination of hard and soft wax for the best waxing results.  The combination will elevate your waxing experience.

What if I'm vegan? Is there an option for me? 

YES!!!! We love our vegan clients and have a vegan waxing option. When you arrive for your appointment, let us know you're vegan and we will use the appropriate vegan wax and post care.

Do you double dip?
No we do not! We really care about the safety and protection of our clients no matter what the service. Say goodbye to your worries, we will take good care of you.

What can I do to prevent ingrown hairs?
EXFOLIATE and please follow all post care instructions. This is the most important and neglected step in body and skin care.  You should exfoliate your skin at least two times per week followed by recommended aftercare. We recommend using Ouch Balm Oil for soothing the skin after waxing and The Personal Cleansing Bar in the shower.

How often should I receive a waxing treatment?
A good rule of thumb for waxing is every 4-6 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows. If you can’t stand the hair, feel free to come more often. 

Should I be nervous?
There is no need to be nervous. We will take good care of you and your skin. Our services are done in a professional and sanitary environment.

At what age can I get waxed?
At Skin So Fancy Wax Studio, if you are under the age of 18, we require a parent or guardian to accompany you to your service and sign a release form for your treatment.
