COVID-19 policies for Skin So Fancy Wax Studio 

Here is what you can expect from Skin So Fancy Wax Studio. Please know that CDPH, City of Long Beach and the State of California have given strict protocols, which we intend to uphold. Please remain patient and kind as we begin reopening the doors to serve you. These guidelines are non-negotiable in our effort to protect you, your family, as well as mine. 

Scheduling

Online booking is open. If you don't see your desired date please call or text us to schedule.  

• Online intake forms are to be completed 24 hours before each scheduled visit. 

•  Appointments are required. Same day scheduling will be available if time permits. 

• Covid questions will be asked when you arrive to your appointment.

• Scheduling an appointment requires a credit card at the time of booking to secure your appointment.

• Scheduling and timing are critical in maintaining a clean working environment. 

Health Protocols 

• Everyone is required to wear a mask (ear loop masks recommended) while in studio and during your service. Wearing a masks is a non-negotiable. No mask, no service, NO EXCEPTIONS.

• Please DO NOT come in for your appointment if you are sick. Your service can be rescheduled. 

• Service providers will NOT work if sick. Appointment will be rescheduled. 

• Hand sanitizer will be available to all guests. 

• For everyone's protection, service providers will wear a mask, face shield or goggles during the service.

• Please keep personal items to a minimum. Only bring in items that are necessary for your appointment (keys, cell phone, earbuds & cash/card payment). Personal items must remain in the provided basket during the service.

• Please no hugging, kissing, or hand shakes. I know... I missed you too!

Timeliness

• Timeliness cannot be stressed enough. The importance of arriving to your appointment on time is crucial to maintaining the flow of the day. 

• Due to increased sanitation guidelines, if you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be forfeited. The no show policy will be strictly enforced.

• Please be respectful of other clients and their appointment times and leave upon completion of service and payment. Additional cleaning procedures have been added to existing routine, and more time is needed complete each task. I will miss our long after wax conversation, but we can catch up during your service.

Capacity

• Visitors, children and other guests are NOT permitted during your service. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you arrive with a guest, they will be asked to wait outside.  

Cleanliness

• Sanitation and disinfection have always been a priority.  We wipe down all high touch areas after each service. All bedding is changed after each client to maintain a sanitary work area. 

• If you are getting a facial wax, it's recommended you bring a clean mask with you to avoid irritation to your skin from a previously worn mask.

New changes can seem like a lot; however, adhering to these guidelines will keep the studio running safe and efficient. Thank you for your continued support of Skin So Fancy Wax Studio. I am happy to be your wax lady!
